We understand that larger course owning groups or municipal entities may want to purchase a grinding head to do the work in house, for them we sell 2 units, a 12" and a 16"
The 12" grinder is best for smaller drive units such as Dingo, Ditch Witch, or small skid steers. They are lighter weight and require less hydraulic flow, but do cut slower.
The 16" unit will fit on regular sized skid steers and will run on regular hydraulic or high flow if requested. These units will cut through and bump in a hurry. In addition to the greater weight and speed/power from the higher flow, the cutting plate will have 50% more teeth to speed up the removal process.
If you have a only a small or only a large machine the answer is simple. If you have both, unless you have an extremely large amount of area to deal with, I would recommend the smaller head. This all comes down to the ease of use factor, and less potential to over grind.
Due to a few factors the pictures here do not always line up with what is shipped, mostly due to constantly tweeking the design to get the best possible product out there to you. I use these products myself constantly and when I find issues, I always modify to improve.
The small unit is $8000 usd and the large is $10000 usd. These curently are FOB Calgary, AB and will require shipping and about $250 for importing fees.
